I love that bit from McManus about making little room for traditions that mean the world to us and little, if anything to those searching for God. Imagine that! What would church look like then if we sorted through all we do and then made a list of "For Us" and "For Those Searching For God". I'd have to go to Home Depot and buy me a really good sharp axe.
