Clark Cowden

Clark is the Executive Presbyter of San Diego Presbytery in the PC(USA), where they are seeking to become a "missional presbytery." He was previously the Evangelist Presbyter of San Joaquin Presbytery, and he has pastored churches in Indiana and Michigan. He is also currently an adjunct professor at the North California extension of Fuller Theological Seminary.

Russell Smith

Russell Smith has worked as a corporate trainer, a technical writer, and a Radio Announcer for an NPR affiliate. He's produced independent theatre, been a member of a Toastmasters International club, rafted the Grand Canyon, and studied at Oxford University. His love of missions has taken him to England, Mexico, the South Carolina sea islands, and the mountains of Appalachia. Currently, he's pastor of Covenant-First Presbyterian in Cincinnati, OH (www.covfirstchurch.org) and he writes The Eagle and Child weblog (www.russellsmusings.blogspot.com).


Michael Walker

Michael Walker

Michael is the Theologian in Residence at Highland Park Presbyterian Church in Dallas, TX, and a Ph.D. Candidate in History of Doctrine at Princeton Theological Seminary. He is currently writing his dissertation on "John Calvin's Pursuit of Happiness," focusing on one of Calvin's earliest writings about the life of the soul between the body's death and resurrection. He was previously the Executive Director of Presbyterians For Renewal (2005-2007). He is married to Christina and together they have three children. His own blog is at www.michaelryanwalker.com.

After graduating from Princeton Seminary, Kevin has been ministering as a lay leader in the inner city of Newark and now in Kingston, New Jersey. He's in the "call process" in the PC(USA) and is an avid reader, drummer, and ultimate Frisbee player. His wife, Libby, appreciates his ability to keep the houseplants alive even during the direst Jersey winters. He loves the church, and he is especially interested in urban ministry.

Corey is Associate Pastor of Outreach at Third Presbyterian Church in Richmond, VA. He and his wife Sarah and daughter Sophie live in inner city Richmond with a group of friends who share a commitment to the city, the poor, and racial reconciliation.


Mike Langford

Mike Langford

Mike Langford serves as an associate pastor at Covenant Presbyterian
Church in Austin, Texas, and is also currently writing his Ph.D.
dissertation in systematic theology at Princeton Theological Seminary.
He is especially interested in the interrelationship between salvation
and discipleship, and the role of existential identity and spiritual
formation in communal Christian life. He's also interested in baseball,
composting, getting his Outlook inbox below 300, diet Dr. Pepper, and
napping.

Named one of Georgia Trend magazine’s “100 Most Influential Georgians” in 2006, Dr. Scott Weimer is the Senior Pastor of North Avenue Presbyterian Church, in the growing midtown section of Atlanta. Scott loves to travel with his family and the church, as it engages him in mission around the world. In the last couple of years alone Scott has had the opportunity to see God at work first-hand in South Korea, China, Kenya, France, and Mexico.

An avid reader and runner, Scott also enjoys watching college basketball (Go Jayhawks!) and hanging out with his three children.

Janise Matyas Smith is Associate Pastor of Triangle Presbyterian Church in Durham, NC. She grew up in Southern California and attended Whitworth College in Spokane, WA, where she met her husband Derek. Janise graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity and a Masters of Arts in Christian Education. Her ministry is focused on Adult Education in which she seeks to integrate adults into the life and community of the church and help adults grow in their walk with Jesus Christ so that they may become fully-devoted disciples.

Mindy Beard, a recent graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, has been serving in the inner city of West Philadelphia at Woodland Presbyterian Church. Mindy served in full-time Young Life ministry for three years after receiving a Religion major from Whitworth College in Spokane Washington. Her heart for evangelism and mission clearly shape and inform her desire to help equip those who serve the church. She is now seeking her first ordained call.

Kristina Robb-Dover is a candidate for ordination in the Presbyterian Church (USA) where she currently serves as Team Coordinator of the PGF Leadership Team. Kristina has written for a variety of publications, including Theology Today, Christian Century, and Touchstone. Prior to pursuing a vocation in ordained ministry, Kristina worked for ABC News and then in the field of human rights and relief and development. She holds degrees from Yale College and Princeton Theological Seminary. Kristina resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband Paul, son Cam, and dog Carter.


Dave Barry

Dave Barry

Dave is going into his second year at Fuller Theological Seminary out on the left coast. He is an MDiv major with a concentration in Cross Cultural Studies. Before starting at Fuller, Dave was serving Presbyterians in Lebanon and Syria as a missionary from his home church. Dave likes coffee (either Arabic or Italian Espresso, but Americano will do), happy hour, afternoon thunderstorms, meeting people, and going crazy places!
